“Are you ever taking those bandages off?”
“Are you implying my heart is no longer bleeding? . . .”
Ursur was scowling, maybe trying to figure it out, or pretending. Or looking closer for the blood seeping through, rot of the wound.
“You ought to know,” Crotalus said, so indifferent. “It is your fault, anyway.”
Ursur stared at the mold until Crotalus grabbed his wrist quickly.
“You miss the locket, right?” he smiled, “So. . . . You wanna touch it?” Sure, but it would not be the first time that the fake divine managed to touch his heart through the damned Ether.
In some good news, I finally obtained a tablet! The hope is to draw without the pressure of making something allegedly good enough to publish. Instead to use for scribbling inaccurately and quickly. I’m hoping this is the kick I need to overcome some of the overthinking and perfecting with digital art all together.
